      Disposition:
          - Warrior
      Born of a coven of Dark Side witches, Maul was immediately recognized for his inherent strength with the force. He was given to Darth Sidious at an early age, trained as a powerful tool to inspire fear in his enemies. He is proficient with multiple weapons, capable of feats of athleticism beyond that of almost any enemy he may face. Being taken as a blank slate and trained essentially from birth, he has known little more than battle, and tends to treat most interactions with a pragmatic sort of detachment.
          - Sith
      From the time he was taken, Maul was trained with pain and suffering. His emotional state frequently seems limited to a range of intimidation to furious rage, and the desire to exact vengeance on the Jedi for the destruction of his great order. Stunted and twisted by years of conditioning, he is now a powerful weapon with little hope of redemption, locked into a cycle for fear of weakness.
      The strong rule, and the weak are ruled.
          - Cunning
      While brute force can solve most problems, a Sith Lord has other tools at his disposal. Maul can be patient, intelligent, and crafty when necessary. When he is in a tough position, he will often resort to more subtle tactics.
          - Force User
      Maul has an impressive connection to the force, exercising the raw power to throw, grip, crush, and otherwise telekinetically manipulate objects and creatures. A sudden loss of this connection will certainly take a heavy toll on his psyche, pushing him into a more fearful and cautious state. 
          - Arrogant
      And rightfully so. Maul is a Sith Lord, accomplished in a plethora of deadly arts, a ruthless murderer, and a singularly intimidating warrior worthy of fear. This, of course, comes along with a slight superiority complex, especially where Jedi are concerned. He sees himself as having harnessed powers that give him ultimate freedom, where others would abstain, whether out of fear or caution. In his head, he seems to think he stared into the abyss and wrangled it into doing his bidding. Surely others would beg to differ.
          - Unstable
      Any creature that subsists wholly on rage and hate can't be very healthy mentally or emotionally. For years, Maul has had to rely only on himself, stamping out any sign of remorse, regret, or even simple compassion for fear that it could be taken as a sign of weakness. Even his master treated him as a valuable but expendable tool and little more. Under the surface, confidence only goes so far, and the mantras and psychological wounds that fuel his considerable power are festering, fraying the edges of an already strained mind.
          - Lonely
      Probably one of the easiest routes to actually breaking the surface with Maul. He has been more or less alone for his entire life to this point in his life, with interactions being mostly limited to superficial relationships of mutual benefit. There have been suggestions that he attempted to reach out to others, a desire to find a deeper connection, though fear of retribution from his master or perhaps just the overwhelmingly pain-based nature of his training overrode natural desires to try.
      Without his master in the picture, there's a chance he may well try, as twisted and colored by doctrine as the attempts may be.
          - Fearful
      Years of training rooted in visceral reaction has left Maul obedient, but always wary of a master that seems to have little trouble ferreting out any secret, any motive, or any possible weakness. He seems to expect punishment for even the slightest act of compassion, the barest hint of kindness. For most of his life, he hasn't been wrong... The memory of his master never really seems to leave his mind.

      Suitability:
      It may take some time to get over paranoia and the fear that something bigger will immediately eat him, but at his core, Maul is quite willing to form connections and make alliances. While the behavior tends to be self serving, there's a high possibility that he may even manage to find some reason to relax, become a little less arrogant, and maybe even make a real friend here and there.

      A peaceful setting will work wonders for someone who hasn't been able to relax for his entire life. Especially if there happens to be some big game here and there to satisfy carnivorous instincts.

      Condition upon arrival:
      Tired, confused, and with a new scar from hip to hip, subtle, but there if one looks hard enough. He seems to have little if any memory of the event that left him in this state.

      Abilities
          - Force Powers:
      Mild precognition, ability to telekinetically manipulate objects and creatures, augmented physical ability and softer landings after a long fall.
          - Combat Prowess: 
      If it's a bladed or blunt weapon, chances are Maul has a decent idea of how to use it.
          - Lightsaber Duelist
      Normal lightsabers are already difficult, but Maul has taken to using a double sided blade with a total length far exceeding anything necessary. He tends to fight in a purely offensive manner, but it makes him all the more deadly.
          - Athletic
      Beyond all imagination. Thanks to the biology of the Zabrak species, his endurance is far beyond that of the average human.
          - Hunter
      Out of pure boredom, and perhaps a strictly carnivorous diet, Maul has become an accomplished hunter. A vast majority of his early training revolved around slaying some of the galaxy's most fearsome beasts with primitive weapons.

      Inventory:
          - Double-Bladed Lightsaber 
      Split down the middle and barely functioning on either end. This will likely need to be repaired at a later date.
          - Acolyte's Robes
      Heavy cloth outer cowl, tunic, wide leather belt, loose lower robes, leather gloves and boots.
